USCIS Premium Processing

Note: Premium Processing is a paid service for faster USCIS decisions on certain forms. Not all forms are eligible.

How Premium Processing Works

  1. Check if your form is eligible for premium processing on the USCIS Premium Processing page
  2. File Form I-907 (Request for Premium Processing Service) with your application or separately
  3. Pay the required premium processing fee
  4. USCIS aims to process your case within the published premium processing timeframe (often 15 or 45 days, depending on the form)

FAQs

  • Does premium processing mean my case will be approved? No. It only provides for a decision within the premium processing timeframe.
  • What if USCIS misses the deadline? The premium fee will be refunded, but your case will still be processed expeditiously.
  • Can I upgrade a pending case? Yes, you can file Form I-907 for a case already in process if eligible.
