What is the Civics Test?
The civics test is an oral exam given during your naturalization interview. You'll be asked up to 10 questions from a list of 100. You must answer at least 6 correctly to pass.

FAQs
- Is the test the same for everyone? Most applicants take the 2008 version. Some older applicants may qualify for a simplified test.
- Can I take the test in my language? Only if you qualify for an exemption (age and years as a green card holder). Otherwise, the test is in English.
- What if I fail? You'll get a second chance (retest) within 60-90 days.
